Can Two People From Different Countries Make A Long Distance Relationship Work Under The Age Of 25?
I’ve finished college but plan to start grad school in the fall. Currently I’m living in my boyfriend’s country. We have been together almost 6 months. We have a good relationship and I would like to try making a long distance relationship work for a few years. We could try to visit during school breaks, and I will try and study abroad in the same place with him for 9 months of the 3 years I have ahead.

I am in a long distance relationship at the moment, and he’ll be back to me in two months.
But the last time I saw him was last summer. So we haven’t been seeing each other for quite 7 – 8 months.
Long distance relationships are hard and needs work from both sides of course. You’ll surely go through arguments, hard times, you’d need him so much and can’t do anything about it. He or you might think of break up and that you can’t handle it anymore (the distance). But you’ll get back to your sanity and realize that you both can’t live without each other (if this is a true love, which I am sure it is hopefully).
Bottom line, just work it out your own way, and you need to communicate everyday and keep saying how much you love each other, webcam together, it works. Just keep in touch ’til the next time you see him.
You’ll be fine, even if you felt that love between you kind of slipped away, it keeps getting back if it’s meant to be.
Just be strong, this will make you stronger and more self-independent.
I wish you the best of luck, dear.
