Has Anyone Had A Successful Long Distance Relationship In College?
I was LD for two years in college. It sucked because I couldn’t really afford so much long distance. This was more than 10 years ago, so it wasn’t pretty.
I mean, you know, you’re in college surrounded by young, interesting, beautiful people. Why not shop at school? That’s the practical mind thinking. I know it’s hard for the mind to talk the heart out of anything.
I guess I would say — if you are not involved in it yet — avoid it. Enjoy your college campus life as much as you can. This is a unique time in your life. You don’t want to spend it in your room on the phone.
Sadly nope. In college I ended up cheating on my boyfriend back home. This was years ago and I learned from my mistakes.

well, something like that. My husband is in the Marine Corps and is gone 6 to 10 months out of the year and we have been together for almost 4 yrs. It all depends on the person if you really love them then you will wait if not then it won’t work out. You have to have a lot of patientce, love, and alot of love to be able to hold on but it can be done !
