How Long Did It Take Before You Felt Comfortable Sleeping In The Same Room With Another Student (college Dorm)?
I am in my first semester of college, and am strongly considering staying on campus in the fall. I don’t know how I would feel sharing a room with another person; it seems so “close” (in terms of distance between beds). How can I overcome this “awkward” feeling of sleeping in the same room with a stranger? How long did it take you?

im no college student yet but i would be happy as long as its a chick
u have eye candy almost all day
A lot of college dorms have the beds set up so they are able to be stacked to make bunk beds. This preserves personal space a little better, especially for the top bunk.
Another thing you can do is buy a folding screen to divide the room with. This will give you more privacy and create the illusion of two small rooms.
Finally, it won’t take long until you make friends with your roommate and they are no longer a stranger. For me, it only took a couple days to feel moderately comfortable. It was never perfectly natural, but I guess that’s part of the college experience. I did enjoy having a single room my second year, and after that I moved off campus with my fiance.
it only took me a day. Basically, you need to be friendly to get along with other people. If you are not a friendly type of person, then there are private dorm rooms that is available for you at a higher cost.
It was never weird for me. It’s not like the beds are next to each other. If it makes you uncomfortable, suggest rearranging your room.
Only a few days but don’t leave anything inportent out intell you know them
