I Get Jealous When My Long Distance Boyfriend Talks About Girl Friends, Am I Unreasonable?
We’re in a long distance relationship and only get to see each other for 2 weeks a year. Lately he keeps talking about girls at college and stff and it’s makin me jealous and annoyed towards him. Am I unreasonable?
It’s natural to feel this way since you are in the dark about how he spends his time while you are away. I know how you feel. It’s easy to get tempted and believe he is fooling around, but that is one of the disadvantages of having this kind of relationship. I am also in one, and the distance often really gets in the way to a loving relationship. It’s all up to you, if you choose to see this through or give up without giving it a fight. The best thing you can do at this point is to keep the communication open, always be there when he needs to talk, and find ways to keep the fire burning, though you are far.
No of course it’s not unreasonable! It’s a long distance relationship, you have every reason to be worried! Make sure he knows when to draw the line between friendship and relationship. Sometimes guys don’t know how they’re making another girl feel, or this is just a sign he wants attention or jealousy. Explain to him that you’re happy he has girl friends, but you’d rather not hear about it since it makes you miss him more. Sounds harder than it’s spelt out, but hey, communication is the key. But remember that guys are easy. I hope you see eachother a whole lot.

but i feel so much better when he tells me he loves me
because..out of all the other pretty ducklings out there
he picked the ugly one
and it kinda makes me realieved..
