Long Distance Relationship !!!?
Okay, i’ve been in contact with this guy who lives like about 4-5 hours away from me. we met each other online. So we decided to meet each other and we did basically im in a relationship with him now.we keep ourselves in contact by phone and text messages and we were thinking we can work this relationship out and have some good time even if there is a distance problem. But lately i feel like i dont have time for our relationship because my college is starting and i work weekends plus weekdays after college. When will i have time to meet him?? And this year is so important for me if i want to get good a-level results. Its like i can only meet him in holidays…i really dont know how to tell him…i mean our relationship has only started (i’ve only met him once). I do want to see how it goes on but i really need space at this time ..and i dont have any time for a relationship especialy long distance which is like 3-4 hours.!! help how do i tell him without making him think negative .
You are smart to want to focus on school. But you have to do whatever you feel is right. If you really want to date this guy, then you will find a way to make it work out. But guys will come and go, so if I were you, I would focus on school like your conscience seems to be telling you. Maybe you will meet someone who lives closer. Just make your decision and go one way or the other. Don’t worry about hurting his feelings…it hasn’t been very long so he will get over it. Good luck!
The perfect way is everything you posted just now would be a great thing to say. Your letting him know why it would be difficult to continue a relationship with him giving school, work, and everything else. Besides, that’s what I got. So give it a shot.

I’ve tried a long distance relationship a couple times, it never works. When someone asks me that question I am always against long distance relationships. The worst part is when you meet someone closer and then you are tied up with someone you never really see, the doubts get stronger. I would just let him know unless he moves closer, you’re gonna have to call of the dating relationship and stay as friends. Everyone hates hearing that but thats how its gonna be. Maybe, if you’re lucky, you can get him to be a friend with benefits, so when he comes out your way and you are not seeing anyone, you can hook-up.
Tell him that you like him and dont think its fair to eithet one of you to be in a relationship when you dont have the time for it.
Be honest,tell him how you feel and ask him if you can keep it casual at least untill you’ve found your feet at college.
