Long Distance Relationship And Christmas Gifts?
My boyfriend and I have been dating for 5 months as of last sunday however i’ve known him for 6 years. The only thing is we go to different colleges that are 4 hours apart. Christmas is coming up in just under 2 months and over the next few weeks I plan on starting to look for Christmas gifts for him and everyone else I have to shop for. Does anyone have any suggestions of cute Christmas gifts that say “I love you” more than “I spent a lot of money on this gift.” Or maybe something cute for our 6 month anniversary right after Thanksgiving. Any ideas would be great simply because I feel like nothing I get him is going to be good enough….
Long Distance Relationship Problems?
I’ve dated a girl for two and a half years and we split up about 5 months ago. We spent a little time apart and then have been in a state of limbo with each other the past few months. I have wanted to get back together with her, and she has been almost on the verge of it, but then thought otherwise. It is difficult because we are separated by about 250 miles and both work and go to school; so we only see each other a few times a month. However that distance will not be a problem in a few months. We are both young, I am 23 and she is 20, but I can see myself at some point spending a life with her. It has been difficult because of distance, being in college, and financial reasons at this point in both our lives. Has anyone been in a similar situation and managed to work things out or possibly taken a break and gotten back together? There was never any real bad reasons why we broke up (like cheating or abuse), but we have had trouble with communication. I’ve spent time learning from my mistakes, and bettering my health and lifestyle. We are both very active and really have a lot that we like to do together. We actually still have a trip planned for this winter. I guess my predicament is how to go about reconnecting. It is difficult to connect with someone in a long distance relationship. You can’t just swing by there house after work or talk things over at coffee, everything has to be planned or set up if we are going to visit each other; and right now she said she needs a little more time and space to herself. ????!!!
Has anyone been in this situation and made things work? Any advice? Sharing your stories would be helpful. I would like things to work out for both of us; I really do care about her as a person and her family, sometimes I feel it is just hard to sit back and do nothing. ???
What Do I Do About My Relationship( Long Distance) ?
I have been dating someone for about 5 months now. Things were great, but then I had to leave for college. I just recently went back home to visit and it was awesome, but now he isn’t sure if he wants to stay in the relationship ( as long as it is long distance) how should I interpret this? Does he really care like he says and he is just having a hard time? Or has he wanted out and just doesnt have the guts to tell me? I am roughly 3 1/2 hours away from where he lives…if you have any suggestions on how to make it work, please let me know.
How Do I Maintain A College Relationship During Long-distance Summer?
By the last day of the year, we’ll be going out for 7 months. Then we split for 3.5 months! What are your suggestions to keep the relationship strong? Visiting is a possibility, but I know we need more than just 5 days together. Thank you!
