im a turning 18 in less than a month and moving to college and want to remain close with the family.
and ive been dating him for almost 9 months.
i know who he is and not some creepy kid
my parents dont approve of long distance relationships.

my boyfriend and i have been dating for a little over 9 months. but i might have go to a college out of state and he is in college in this state and cannot move. do you believe that long distance relationships work? why or why not?

Long Distance Realtionship– Different Colleges?
my boyfriend and i have been dating for 9 months and wanted to stay together for college. we are at different colleges and try to see each other as much as we can, but it usually isnt very much. Before we went to college, he would constantly tell me that he would transfer to the college i am at becasue it is a much better school then the one he is going to and becasue he didnt want to be away from me for this long. My school is a more respectable college and has more opportunitys expecially due to the fact he is undecided. Yet, when he moved up to college thing seemes to change. we still want to be together but he has made comments that made me realize he is never going to even try to transfer here. This really hurt. I know i cant really be mad becasue its his choice but i dont think he realizes how it hurts to have been told that for months and then “oh well forget it”. how to i make him understand how that hurt me?
Can Two People From Different Countries Make A Long Distance Relationship Work Under The Age Of 25?
I’ve finished college but plan to start grad school in the fall. Currently I’m living in my boyfriend’s country. We have been together almost 6 months. We have a good relationship and I would like to try making a long distance relationship work for a few years. We could try to visit during school breaks, and I will try and study abroad in the same place with him for 9 months of the 3 years I have ahead.
Can College, Long-distance Relationships Work?
Me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 months, but we have to part because we’re both moving away for college. We both already made a decision on which colleges we are going to before we even met and even if we haven’t we both don’t want to be the reason why the other person won’t go to the college they really want to go to.
We’re seeing each other during winter and spring break.
He’s planning on moving back and going to a college closer to me for our sophmore year. But for now, it will be 9 months of phone, email and texting.
He wants to stay commited and faithful to each other.
