Long Time Boyfriend Going Away To College, Some Thoughts?
Recently my boyfriend of two years and high school sweetheart told me
that he is going to UTI in PA after we graduate, its a all guys
automotive trade school about a hour away from where we live now.
I am going to a community college for two years then was planning on transferring.
Me and my boyfriend do have a
good relationship, of course we have little nit pick fights every onece
in a while but overall we do enjoy out time together. We on average see
each other everyday at some point.
I though am uncomfortable with any type of long distance thing. I am
not one to fully trust any boyfriend. But my boyfriend wants me to
possibly move in with him at the apartment he will be living in. I
personally know I cannot afford going to a college out of state, but I
might apply to a college or two anyway to see what possibilities happen.
Even if I don’t move to PA he keeps telling me he wants to be with me
and how he will be down every weekend and so on.
I just need some other opinions on this, since this is litterally making
me have such headaches from the confusion of what to do. Any words of
advice or thoughts?

Someone just help me to go in the right direction. If I go away I lose my bf of two years and were in love, he wont do the long distance thing. And if i stay here and go to college, theres only a college here, than i could still end up losing him to another girl right? I dont know what to do. Which one is better education wise, im really scared to just go away and take a chance.

I live in Connecticut and my boyfriend of one month , whom I really like is moving to Massachusetts in a month for this new job with the air force. I am in college in another city right now so I only see him on the weekends, I’m afraid that when he moves, he will be too busy for me and I will never see him. My ex and I were deeply in love two years ago when I left for college. After six months he broke up with me. He said the distance was just to hard for him to handle, I am seven years younger, and he wanted me to enjoy college and meet other people. Two weeks after he broke up with me he was calling and sending me messages..it was as if he really couldnt let go. I tried to ignore him for a month but then when he said “Are you still alive” I felt bad and called him. We have remained really close friends for the past year and a half..he calls me about every two weeks. Me and my boyfriend are both planning on leaving for college. He’s leaving i think in January, and im not leaving until next year. How do you all still like have a relationship when you all wont be able to see each other and be with each other? He’s trying to stay here around where i live so that we can be together, but i told him not to make his decision based on me because he may later on regret not leaving and having that “dorm-life” college experience. And i’m think when it’s my turn to go to college that im gonna stay on campus……and i dont want him to feel like i dont care about the relationship because i chose to go away. I dont think it would work just because we’d be living 2 different lives……what do you think?

I’m 21 and my bf is 22. We have been together for about 2 years and 4 months. We really love each other and think about the relationship seriously. We usually see each other every weekends. I just got accepted into a pharmacy school in Fl, which is 14 hrs away from where we live, for next fall. I’ll study for 4 years…We are getting each other a promise ring. He wants to move to Fl with me soon because he cannot live without me and so do I. He is getting depressed because he’s afraid I’ll leave him for someone else at school and he also feels insecured.
