Hi, I’m a huge soccer fan and I really wanna have a chance to cheer for USA during FIFA world cup 2010 South Africa. it will start from the beginning of June and end in July. Let’s say I ship out for basic in the beginning of April and I go to 9 weeks of basic and take a break for like a week to prepare for AIT. or let’s just say the world cup will begin during my AIT. will I be able to watch those matches live on the internet or at least check the websites to see how did it go? I have a laptop with wi-fi but I think it ain’t a good idea to take it with myself. so what do you think? thank you.

I’m thinking about buying a 32″ Sanyo flat screen. My current tv is a ten year old 19″ Sanyo rear-projection. While it still works perfectly, no complaints, I feel very behind the times. But I only have basic cable (channels 2-76, not digital box or anything). Is it worth it? I usually watch movies on my 24″ computer so it’s not a huge deal as far as watching movies.

I will be purchasing two 32 inch flat screen televisions and I need to know the basic setup. What kind of cables to buy,etc. I am going to hookup two dvd/vcr to each tv so I need to know what cables and cords I would need to get the best picture possible. We have a flat screen Magnavox tv and are planning on canceling our direct tv subscription.
