Long Distance? Please Help I Really Need Some Advice!!

basically im going off to college, and my best friend who is a guy is going to be a senior in high school. im going to a college 7 hours away. for a little while now i have felt like he likes me as more than a friend, but doesnt wanna say anything cuz im leaving. the thing is that he is such a great friend and i could see our relationship working out, the only thing that is holding me back is the long distance. trust wouldnt be an issue. just the seperation. i know im going to miss him TONS already, and dating him will prolly make me miss him more. what do you think? should i go for it and just deal with the long distnace? or just stay best friends?

Long Distance Relationship With A Marine.. Should I Do It?

So I’ve known this guy for 3 years and have pretty much had a thing for him since day one, but he was my best friends boyfriend at the the time, about a month later they hit splitsville and are still really good friends. (I’ve talked to her about this and she is totally cool and kinda excited about me and him). Well, about a month ago we both finally found out that we had feelings for each other… the problem: He’s in the Marines, and is in So. Cal at base. He still has a little over 4 years left on his enlistment contract and I have no idea what we’re going to do. We talk all the time and it pretty much kills me when I have to say good night, I really like this one. Only neither of us really think long distance will work especially because I leave for college, 2 states away in less than a month making it even further, and harder for us to visit when he does get leave. WHAT DO WE DO?!?!

*sighs* well here I go.. I have a long distance relationship with my bf we have been together for 7 months..its been great we email each other, chat on gmail, and talk on the phone so wats the problem? well our parents dont know any of this they dont know were dating, they dont even know that my bf and I know each other.If they knew they would kill me im so sure of it..im not allowed to date I have those parents who are strict..they think I dont know wat love is or any of that bull but I know wat im feeling and its def love. It makes me sad cuz they put me down alot saying i dont know anything about love and its just a waste of time for now..that i should wait. well it wasnt my fault i feel this way! am I right? anyways I met my bf online we have been best friends for 3 yrs and last year we starting liking each other even more im really liking it we have never met in real life but i know its not some creep cuz i talk to him on the phone and his lil sister so i know its him…. plz plz plz dont be cruel about our age difference he just turned 15 and i’m 18 which I just turned…i know crazy right? but I love him so so much I have never felt this way for a guy he just amazes me..we plan on meeting in life when we are in college which is probably a long time the fact I graduate this year… we both have a future on being someone..have a professional life..we want to get married def and we want to just be with each other for the rest of our lives..I really want to grow old with him i know it sounds crazy but its one of my dreams in life…lately its been hard for him cuz he keeps asking me wat if it wont work out? as in the distance and all? but its hard keeping in contact since his parents “almost found out about us” so she took his computer away from him so we talk..just like 3 days in a week..we used to talk like everyday but ever since his mom found out :/ its been hard. my q is how do you keep in contact with ur long distance relationship? btw we both cant text each other, send letters ect. we can only talk online and on the phone but we only talk on the phone when our parents arent home. Has anybody ever had a long distance relationship work?
we’ve been “best friends who like each other” for 3 years, and in a couple months we’ll both be 18 (we wanted to wait till then) and we do want to pursue a relationship together. i go off to a college 3 states away in 1 year though, and he’s expressed to me that during the 3 years i’ll be away (its not 4 cause i’m doing my first year here at a community college), he wants to do a long- distance relationship type deal and then we’ll be together again when i get back.
i say, we continue to take it slow (i mean its been 3 years, we’re about 18 and all we’ve done is hold hands… haven’t even kissed yet) and then for the 3/4 years we each go off do our things, keep in touch but we’re not tied down to each other, and then after schooling re-evaluate our relationship. i mean if we’re “meant to be” it’ll work out and if not then….well it won’t.
for 3 years, i don’t want him to not date, etc. just cause he feels like he has to wait for me… but i don’t know how to tell him this without him thinking “oh she just wants to be availiable for all those new college guys” which is totally not the case…. idk do long distance relationships ever work?

Can A Long Distance Relationship Work?

I’ve been dating this guy for almost two months, but we’ve been best friends for quite awhile. I’m about to leave for college and he’s going to be a senior in high school this year. I love him as a friend and probably even more. We decided not to break up yet, but we aren’t sure where to go from here. I’ve promised to call him all the time when I leave. I’m going to be gone for the next three weeks in july (starting school early doing a summer program for incoming freshman) and by the time I get back he will be gone to china for a month. He won’t be back until school starts. The school that I’m going to is less than 2 hours away, but I know he will be really busy this coming school year with 5 ap classes. The soonest I can think of that I will be home is not until october. I really don’t want to break up with him, and I’m willing to commit to a long distance relationship. I just want some people’s opinions as to whether they think it could work out…

Long Distance Relationship: Im In High School, He Is In College. Should I Let Him Move On?

ive been best friends with this guy for 5 years and he just recently admitted that he loves me and i love him too, but im a junior in high school and he is in his freshman year at college 7 hours away (we met online). he says im the only girl for him, but i feel im just holding him back from meeting other girls at his college because there are 20,000 kids and i know he could easily find a girl that is the same age, not 7 hours away, and not in high school. i wont even be able to really spend time with him for another 1 and a half years until i graduate. i dont know if i should just let him move on because i kind of feel like he has so many opportunities that im holding him back from, not just with relationships but with life too. im so in love with him but i really just want him to be happy and want the best for him, and i dont know if im holding him back from dating and a relationship that isnt composed of online chat and phone conversation. help? opinions?
