My Boyfriend’s Phobia Of Long-distance Relationships?

My bf is a jr in high school and I am a sr. We have now been dating for a month and a half, and I care about him a lot… I even think that I could love him someday. Here’s the problem: I’m going off to college this fall 7 hours away from my bf. My bf has never successfully held a long distance relationship (neither have I) or a relationship longer than ours. When I bring up my concerns about next year he changes the subject. He says he’s afraid to have deep feelings for me because I’m leaving, even though he likes me a lot. I think we both went into this knowing we might break up after graduation, but I’m afraid I’m already becoming attached to him. Are we capable of making it, even though in a year and a half he’s going to the air force academy? Am I worrying too much too soon? If he somehow falls in love with me, for the first time, will he be willing to make it work long-distance? Or should I just accept that this will soon end and have fun for the rest of the school year?

Is It Easier Or Harder To Get A Long-term Boyfriend If You’re In A Sorority In College?

I’m a 1st year in college and I was thinking about joining a sorority. Right now what I want is long-term boyfriend who I can trust throughout college that I can spend a lot of time with, etc.
I have gone to a few fraternity parties that were open parties where anyone can go, and that’s where I met my current guy I am dating. He is a 4th year, and we have been dating over one month. I told him no sex and he respects my decision. He treats me really well and we get a long well and always have fun together. My concerns though are that he is really busy all the time because he is involved with so many clubs on campus so it’s hard for him to make time to see me but he does make time. Other concern is he is graduating in a few months, so next year he won’t be at the school with me and I would not want a long-distance relationship. I also feel like we are already getting bored of each other.
I think he likes the fact that I am not in a sorority and I seem innocent and he knows I wouldn’t cheat on him. But since he’s leaving I feel I am gonna have to start looking for someone else. I want someone younger that’s in a lower grade.
I’m wondering if I should do spring rush for a sorority but I’ve heard that guys have less respect for sorority girls and would not want a long-term relationship with one. Mainly sorority girls associate with frat guys (and I’ve found the frat guys at my school to be extreme players) so frat guys wouldn’t want a relationship would they? But I feel the opportunity to meet new people would be better, and I know of a couple girls in sororities who have boyfriends, but I don’t know what to do. Join a sorority or not? Would this decrease or increase my chances of having a long-term bf?

I’m 21 and i’ve been in a relationship with my boyfriends for almost 4 years. I am away at college and the whole “long distance thing is really starting to wear me thin. I think we have good relationship, we’ve been through many tough times including helping me through a tough illness. We are very close and we talk almost every day, but I can’t help thinking about other guys sometimes. Our relationship is very serious and we have both talked about moving in together and marraige and children etc. We have a very healthy relation, but I have just been noticing this guy around my school that I am very attracted to, and having more self confidence, am dying to flirt with. I love my boyfriend but I can’t help thinking that I should date other ppl. I really don’t want to break up with him because I love him dearly, but I just don’t want to regret not dating other ppl, but I know to suggest this would crush him Any thoughts?

Can Long Distance Relationships Work In College?

I’m not going to get into every little detail of my love life but the facts are me and my girlfriend go to two different schools. We visit with each other as often as possible usually every two or three weeks for the weekend. What I’m really looking for right now is some confirmation from all the females out there who have been in long distance relationships that they didn’t cheat on their boyfriends. However if that’s not the case I’d love to know what went wrong so I can do everything in my power to prevent the love of my life from slipping away from me.
