Long Distance Relationship: Can This Work Out?
I am a senior in high school and I met this girl over the summer (also a senior) that lives about 45 minutes away. We said when school began we would try to see each other, but we were both in cross-country and we were too busy to really be together. We still talk a lot, text just about daily and call about once a week. I still really like her but we’re not really “in a relationship” right now. We’re gonna try to do stuff with the season over and break coming up, but with us most likely going to different colleges next year I don’t know how to handle this. Any advise?

How Do Interviews Work In A Long-distance Job Search?
I’m a college student who’s graduating in June, and I’m planning on moving cross-country soon afterwards. I’d really like to have a job lined up before I move. I don’t know much about job searching, but I’ve always been told that first you send in your resume along with a cover letter requesting an interview. I know how to find openings online and send my resume, but I have no idea how the interview step is supposed to work. As far as I know, my options are:
1. Ask for a phone interview (I could do this, but I think I present myself better in person)
2. Plan on flying over there for interviews sometime before June (I’d have to miss class, so I’d rather not do this)
3. Ask the companies if they’ll wait until June to interview me (but like I said, I’d rather get the job before I move)
So what should I do? Do companies ever hire people without an interview? Also, should I request one of these options in my cover letter, or just explain my situation and let them say what they want to do?
Dating In College/long Distance?
I’m leaving for college in about a month, as is my boyfriend. We haven’t been together (officially) for that long … we’ve been dating officially for about a month and a half, but we were doing that weird flirty-going-on-dates-but-not-dating thing for a while before that.
We’re not planning on breaking up for college. We both want to stay together, but I’m so nervous about the whole long distance thing. We won’t really be THAT far apart .. we’re both going to school in NJ, and our schools are about 40 minutes from each other, so it’s not like it’s a cross country thing to contend with, and we can see each other if we want to. I’m also nervous because I know that not only does his school have more girls than guys, his major (english/education, same as mine) is predominantly female .. there are going to be so many pretty girls running around, and I’m afraid that he’ll forget about me. Not that he’s like that, but I still get nervous that he’ll find someone better than me. =\
