How Should Someone Deal With A Long Distance Relationship?
I have been with my bf for a year and 6 months now..we are doing great! But in 2 months hes going off to college 3 hours away and i am only going to be a senior in highschool..anyway my bf doesnt drink/smoke/party or anything but i am still very nervous for his to leave me..he tells me we will b fine and i really do trust him but i am still a little scared..im afraid he will find someone else while there..any advise on relationships or how we can make it work? let me know! =)

See me and my boyfriend have a five year old lil boy we’ve been off and on for 5 years but its going oh soo great now…I Mean Great!..One problem…im doing my thing in our hometown..as in got a job and all..but he got a one time opportunity to go to college fully paid with room board and everything..3 1/2 – 4 1/2 hours away…im soo proud of him for doing it..it’ll make a better life for him and us too. But only seeing him like once a month is killing me. I cant stand being this far away from him. How do you deal with a long distance relationship with soo much on the line?

Okay, heres the deal. My b/f & i have been dating for about 2 years now. He’s in college & we have a long distance relationship. We have only gotten to see eachother a few times since we have been together. I would love to have a real relationship with him but, at the same time i don’t want to make him feel like i’m telling him to either choose me or school. I want him to finish school if thats what he really wants but, i’m not sure how much longer i can go with only getting to see him on his breaks. When we started dating, i was under the impression that he only had a little bit more left in school. Come to find out that he doesn’t want to end his education atleast until 2010. I believe he has enough education to get a great job so we can be together. What do i do? Please Help!!!!
How Do You Deal With Having A Long Distance Relationship?
I am specifically asking about my situation but I’d like to know how you deal with it. I know a similar question has been asked but mine’s a little different.
I have dated this guy for 4 years and a couple weeks now. We started dating as freshmen in college and now I’m in grad school in UT and he’s finishing his 5th year at our old place in OH. Needless to say, that’s really far away. My biggest problem is not being jealous when he goes and hangs out with friends until 2 or 3 am on the weekends.
So how do you guys cope with being really far away from someone you love and how do you cope with different social lives? We’re in our early twenties and plan on getting married at some point but for right now we’re looking at a LDR of about 5 years. Please don’t tell me it’s stupid and won’t work because I’m looking for encouragement and helpful ideas.
