Long Distance Relationship Due To Peace Corp?
Hey everyone,
My bf of two years is leaving for the peace corps this July and I’m curious if anyone has gone through a long distance such as this and how it turned out. He will be gone for 2 years and 3 months (hopefully I’ll see him 1-2 times during this time). We are very much in love and live together right now, but with an ocean between us, and lack of regular communication due to his third-world living standards, will that be enough to survive the time and distance? I’m 21 and have another year left of college, and he’s 22 and just graduated (if that makes a difference).
I’m looking for serious answers/advice and other people’s experiences in this area. Thank you all in advance.

Relationship Question, Long Distance?
So theres this girl i really like who i first met in college last fall, we would hang out like every day for hours, that was for about 2 monthes. then i had to go back home from college and she went back home about a month after me. like we were never in a “confirmed relationship” but we were pretty much boyfriend/girlfriend we would like sleep together, not sexually but like sleep with/on eachother. well we kept in touch calling and through myspace and we always flirt with eachother, although we were in no way like a long distance relationship, we say were gonna get married and stuff on text and i call her babe and stuff and she calls me hunny. like shes a one man type of girl and like will only be physical with someone she really cares about although she flirts alot.
So im back in college but shes still home cause she didnt have the money, she wants to try visiting thanksgiving cause her sister lives near as well. but like recently ive been kinda like thinkin too much about it or something and like i always like question how much i should text her and keep in touch like alot or if i should just kinda do my thing and wait for her, like im her top guy friend on myspace behind like her girlfriends. i just dont know if i like seem like im just thinkin about her and not just living shell feel like im maybe a little needy??
So basically after that long explanation im just wondering about how i should conduct myself at college and how much i should be talking to her.
A Kinda Long Distance, Close Relationship.?
Ok heres the situation i was currently seeing this girl at college which is in the same class as me, but the thing is i board and she doesn’t because she lives nearby; my original home is about 35 miles from the college and i only go home on holidays the thing is that she broke up with me because it seems like a long distance relationship yet still i see her everyday at school most of the time.
She she its long distance and at the same time she said she see me too much at school cause we in the same class.
What should i do?

Are Sandals Not Meant For Long Distance, Heavy Duty Walking?
I walked in sandals “with a mission” across a college campus today and my feet were actually starting to ache esp. the big toe. I am assuming they are only meant for shorter journeys like to the grocery store or mall and they are to be used in a more relaxed manner e.g. pushing a shopping cart along and stopping to look at merchandise, even sitting down at times.

I am totally in love with one of my families friend’s son’s who lives in Italy(he is Italian), we have known each other since I can remember and my parent’s have sent me to stay with his family every summer in Italy since I was 12, and when I go there all me and him do is hang out together(and hook up). He is the sweetest guy I have ever met and I love him, I have no clue what to do. He keeps saying I should just move to Italy and stay with him, but I don’t know if I should since I am in my first year of college, but we love each other so much I am really thinking about it.

Long Distance Problem?
my family is living n another country..my bf don`t want us to get separated again because of long distance so he got me preg! [it was confirmed that i was preg when we got separated again by distance]..we both want this baby and we are so happy to have this!
now the problem is,my parents don`t want me to go back to the country where my bf is if were not still married..but my bf promised to his parents that we will get married after his college..and 2-3 years more college! [i think my bf`s parents don`t want us to get married unless my bf has not finished school yet]..now,my bf wants me to go back home but my parents dont agree with it! im confused so any advice what to do? we cant like even see eachother unless we are married! eventhough he`s the father..
Fallen For A Girl With A Long Distance Boyfriend, What Do I Do?
I am 19. She is 18. She is from NY. She is in Florida for college. We met through ROTC and a 4 day long field training excersize. I have fallen head over heels for her. She likes me too, I know this for a fact (she has said it strait up). Heck, the first thing she did when we got back from the excersize was to call up one of her friends and tell her about me. There is one giant problem though, her boyfriend back in NY.
She has been with the guy for almost 3 years now. With the long distance hurting them their relationship is at best rocky. I have spent many nights lifting her spirits after he has torn them down. I have also lost count of the amount of times she has said she was this close to breaking up with him right then and there. I don’t ask too many questions but I think that says enough. Oh, another quick fact, the rockiness also started because about 6 months ago, he did cheat on her.
From what I can gather, her problem is one that I had myself, he is all she knows and she doesn’t know how not to be with him. She has told me that she just doesn’t want to give up when things get tough, which is understandable.
Ever since we have met we have been constantly around each other. We do workouts together every chance we get. We end up spending at minimum 3 nights a week together at my place or her dorm (normally her dorm because she has no car). Several times I have even crashed in her bed, or her in mine. And yes, she likes to cuddle.
We are both nocturnal so we can never sleep. We have spent many nights just walking around campus for hours on end talking about anything and everything. Most of the time not going in until 2 in the morning.
For a long time sexual tension built. We would just lay there talking, doing the random flirty things such as poking and tickling, for hours on end. Both of us being giant teases we would often end up with one on top of the other lips gently brushing against each other, both daring the other to just cross that line.
Just before spring break she kept giving me random tity twisters, so I told her if she does it one more time, i would actually kiss her and cross that line (this is after about 2 months of us playing the games from above). She then proceeds to look me strait in the eye and reach out and grab both of my nipples and twist. Of course, I lived up to my threat and we spent the evening roaming around campus finding every single make out spot we could find. Of course, at the end of the night she said that it was a one time thing and she could not do that again… fast forward to the next night, and it happens again… same for the rest of the week until she went back up to NY.
Now, she did do the right thing and tell her boyfriend exactly what happened right when she saw him. I know he was pissed but that is about all I know of what happened. Obviously not that pissed because they are still dating.
Ever since she has been back the tension is obviously still there, she obviously still likes me. I definitely still cant get over her. We have forced ourselves to behave though. Once or twice we have ended napping in the same bed, and cuddle slightly. Once or twice we have ended up in that lip brushing teasing thing. But for the most part we just behave like really close friends. Still hang out all the time, still go on those long walks and just lay there staring at the stars. Just enjoying each others company.
For a while I have been trying to get over her. Move on. But I cant. Last night she was begging me to come to a club with her so we can dance, because “[she] cant be hooking up with [me] so dancing is innocent.”
She knows how I feel. We both understand that we feel this way for each other, but yet…. What do I do? Is there anything I can do?
Please don’t just pass this off saying she is a cheater, bla bla. I understand that part, I know the extra circumstances, and trust me, if she was a cheater like that I wouldn’t be posting this question.
