well, this is kinda complicated so here goes…my friend just graduated from college and lives about 200 miles away (I’m in the northern part of the state and he’s from the southern part). We both have feelings for each other but since he graduated we decided not to act on them since the chances of us seeing each other again are pretty slim. It’s been hard for us, we love each other but not being able to see each other continuously is driving us both crazy! Ok, I live about an hour drive away from this girl. We are both 19 years old and have busy lives. I met her at a party where she lives and we hit it off, and then I went to another party where she lives and I invited her and had a great time.

Here’s the story. Im 19, and have been with my girlfriend in a long distance relationship for 5 1/2 months now. From day 1 it has been distance. We’ve kept it alive by communication and constant reafirmation of our feelings for one-another. We’ve been able to see each other about 4 times in that time, and those times have been wonderful.
My girlfriend has her final exams these next few weeks, so I know that its a tough time for her. Im going to be there all the way, supporting her when she needs it. I know we wont talk as much these coming days, due to her working. Im fine with that.
I see a real future in this relationship, as does she. We dont want this to end once we both go to college and continue the trend of a distance relationship. Any advice on how to maintain this relationship for a long term would be great, and also anything in general about serious relationships.
