So This Forum Is Dying…?
Yes, its’ come to this I’m afraid. This forum is no longer in vogue. Most users are giving this forum a miss, except a handful.
Even then, they ask and answer silly or non footy related questions. I am one of them myself, but I have no complaints.
This forum has been fun, right from the start in 2006. I have seen so many users come and go, and there has been a lot of good stuff on in here as well.
However all things must end, and this forum is winding down, perhaps even unto a whimper.
But do not despair, when it reverts to FIFA World Cup 2010 and when the tournament is nigh, it will be that new forum that dwarfs all forums.
Those of you who were here during WC 2006 will attest to that. We probably had over 1000 users in a month, maybe much more, during the tournament itself.
And the questions and answers, came thick and fast. So as we close the chapter (I think Yahoo will pull the plug in early December), we can look forward to the new forum, being once again, the premier football forum.
So my question is: Which User in your opinion, has made the greatest impact on this forum?
My choice is Juventina.
She has disappeared from the radar, but for a long time, she could lay claim to being this forum’s most colourful personality.
She either made you like her or detest her. It took me some time, to actually tolerate her and be neutral.
She defended Italy like her life, and never refrained from any debate or argument with non Azzurri fans.She was even more defensive about her beloved Juventus and Gigi Buffon.
Condemn Juve or Buffon, she’d be on you like rampaging bull. But she also made things interesting. She even wanted to report those who criticised her to the FBI at 1 point!
Most times, I took sides with those against her, just for the sheer fun of watching her go into a raging fit.
But I also supported her when she stood alone against some very vile attacks.
So here’s hoping she returns for the next WC and hopefully hasn’t mellowed too much. I still want my kicks!! Lol.

What Are Some Creative Ways That You Or Your Fantasy Football League Has Done The Random Draft Order?
In the past I have numbered poker chips and drawn them from a hat, or used 12 cards from a regular deck of playing cards to draw randomly. Last year we did a ping pong lottery type to determine draft order based on last years record, however, we have too many new players in our league this year. Anyone else have any creative and fun ways to determine the draft order?? Random or otherwise. Thanks

Ideas For Making A Fantasy Football League More Fun?
I’m the commissioner of a fantasy football league that consists of 10 current and former coworkers and their spouses. We had to do an autodraft since some people live far away now and that wasn’t as much fun as our live drafts previously. There’s less smack talk and there was no trading this year and, of course, some people are already clearly out of it. Our league is a great bunch of people but I’m afraid with it being less fun this year no one’s going to want to play next year and we’ll start to really lose touch with one another.
So does anyone have any things they do or ideas (please keep them clean) to keep the leagues fun and keep a league together?
