My ex and I broke up when I left for college because the long-distance was too hard for him to handle. We remained very close friends and I still am madly in love with him. I recently found out he had a new girlfriend and it broke my heart. I told him I can’t talk to him anymore and he broke down saying that he loves me and wants to be with me…its just so hard because I am so far away. He confessed his passion and love for me…saying that he wants to be with me but we are just both living separate lives right now. I don’t know what to do because I still love him so much and strongly feel like we will get back together someday. Does he realy still love me and is using this new girl for sex? He calls me all the time to check in and see how I am..tells me he misses me ad everything. I am so confused and emotionally torn! Any advice?

Well i just wanted to write to those who are going to be having long term relationship (because of college) because i am happen to be in one right now, its my second year with my girl friend.
I am not going to lie and say every day is easy and that it does not take more comment and trust because it defiantly does, every single day is some sort of challenge but i can say this. Every thing you put in you take away a lot more. Distance really does make the heart grow fonder and when ever i came to see my girlfriend (by bus- hour plus away) my heart raced like the first time i met her, the first time she runs to me when i get off the bus it reminds me why i am with her and every thing we are doing (for the relationship) is for a reason (the reason is love)…
It makes me sad when i see on yahoo answers that people are breaking up because of distance, distance is no reason to break up, in my option its a reason to do other “stuff”, what do you think?
I really hate to Babel on but i just wanted to tell every one who is going to break up because of distance/college. Don’t break up, at least give it a chance.
