How Do You Deal With Having A Long Distance Relationship?
I am specifically asking about my situation but I’d like to know how you deal with it. I know a similar question has been asked but mine’s a little different.
I have dated this guy for 4 years and a couple weeks now. We started dating as freshmen in college and now I’m in grad school in UT and he’s finishing his 5th year at our old place in OH. Needless to say, that’s really far away. My biggest problem is not being jealous when he goes and hangs out with friends until 2 or 3 am on the weekends.
So how do you guys cope with being really far away from someone you love and how do you cope with different social lives? We’re in our early twenties and plan on getting married at some point but for right now we’re looking at a LDR of about 5 years. Please don’t tell me it’s stupid and won’t work because I’m looking for encouragement and helpful ideas.

Can Two People From Different Countries Make A Long Distance Relationship Work Under The Age Of 25?
I’ve finished college but plan to start grad school in the fall. Currently I’m living in my boyfriend’s country. We have been together almost 6 months. We have a good relationship and I would like to try making a long distance relationship work for a few years. We could try to visit during school breaks, and I will try and study abroad in the same place with him for 9 months of the 3 years I have ahead.
Can Post College Long Distance Relationships Work?
My bf and I, both 21, are going into our last year of undergrad. We’re both taking a year off so he’ll be going back to Norcal and I’ll be in LA. Even in grad school, I’m sure we won’t be going to the same schools either (though we might be rather close depending on where we get accepted to). We’ve been dating for about 7 months so far.
My question is, do you think post college long distance relationships work? Have you ever been in one? How do you make it work? Please share your experiences. I’d be greatly appreciated. =)
