What Advantages Are There To Having An Hdmi Input On Your Lcd Flat Screen Tv?

HDMI is digital. Component, s-video, composite are all analog.
Also, HDMI has the ability to carry the audio digitally so you dont need a separate cable.

Samsung Flat Panel Lcd Tv Screen Totally Black On Any Input But Audio Continued To Function?

I have a Samsung Flat Panel LCD TV and recently, while using the tv, the entire screen just went black. The audio continued to function but even when I change source or channel or anything I can’t get the screen to show any kind of picture. I’ve had the tv for prob. just over a year.

Connect Computer To Input On Flat Screen Tv ?

I would like to connect my computer to my flat screen tv input which is about 40-50 feet away… what cables/ connectors would i need to make this work ? Thanks
