Would Nations Such As Iran, Saudi Arabia, And Others Boycott The World Cup If Israel Qualified 2010?

This could even happen in the Olympics if Israel qualifies from the UEFA U-21 tournament. A situation like this last happened in the Athens 2004 Olympics in JUDO, but Iran wasn’t suspended from the JUDO Federation.
Surely Football is a much bigger deal what would FIFA do maybe suspend the Federations that participated in such a political protest. After all Israel came damn close in 2006 and there level of play is improving.

Can The Us Finally Get A Seeding For The 2010 World Cup Draw?

This is basically what will determine how hard the US’s competition will be in the WC next year, and it could determine the US’s outlook for the three years after the World Cup based on how they do. Mexico has not won the Gold Cup for 6 years and has not beaten the US for four. The US’s FIFA World Ranking is higher than Mexico’s, yet besides all of this, Mexico gets the seeding and thus, the easier group. Just to show an example: in 06, the US did not get the seed and came up with Italy, the Czechs, and Ghana. Mexico got the seed and came up with Portugal, Iran, and Angola. There’s a big difference there. As expected, the US did not go through while Mexico did.

If Israel Met Iran In World Cup 2010, And One Refused To Play, Would Fifa Ban The Country For Interference?

My theoretical country is based on this, an Iranian Judo Olympian refusing to compete with an Israeli athlete:http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/archive…
FIFA has tentatively set bans on Spain, Iraq, Kuwait, etc recently and all I could tell was it was due to government interferance. Would governments supporting a refusal to play another country in World Cup bring forth disqualification?
I really hope Israel and Iran both qualify, and that the scenario comes true and the countries put aside political differences and compete to see whose the better team.
BTW: all answers please pretend both teams qualify. I actually believe Israel has a great shot in their group, the only competition I see is Greece, and maybe Switzerland.

there are 4 places available plus a play-off with the winner from Oceania section for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. as for the INDIA national team’s chances, there is unlikely that they will qualify as the traditional powerhouse of Asia such as KOREA REPUBLIC, JAPAN, IRAN, SAUDI ARABIA, KUWAIT & CHINA PR are among the favourites to progress to the finals in 2010.
bear in mind that INDIA lose heavily to SAUDI ARABIA 7-0 in the recent 2007 Asian Cup qualifiers, so how can you expect INDIA to qualify for the next World Cup with the back of this heavy defeat?

The two top teams will be Japan and South Korea. They have qualified for the last 3 world cups successifully. Both nations have strong squads who can hold there own against most others.Iran should be qualifying again with Austrialia as well.Saudi Arbia and Iraq are still yet to be decided.Iraq is the reigning asia cup champions so they should be able to make a run as it.But when 2010 comes around Japan,South Korea,Austrialia,Iran and Iraq will advance. With Japan and South Korea and Austrialia all make it to the quarters.
