29″ Colour Flat Tv Models Sold In India Actually Have Tv Screens Measuring Only 27″ Along The Diagonal; Why?
After 21″, the available TV screen size is only 29″ (Flat screens), but this actually measures only 27″. Why the manufacturers have to brand this as 29″ size TV thus almost cheating the customer.

My ATI video card has an S-VIDEO port & uses a cable to run to the S-VIDEO port on the back of the TV. You have to download & install a CATALYST CONTROL CENTER program from ATIs web site & set it up from there. I am sure NVIDIA has the same deal. Your TV becomes your montor & you can even watch TV on your computer. Just make sure both your TV & video card has the S-VIDEO plug, most newer models do.

Probably in the 17 inch range, room and space is not that large. Have not yet delved into ANY flat profile TV purchases so I’m a bit of a novice at what to look for, but the room does have many windows so that will play into selection (a small sunroom). What brands, models, types should I be looking for? No other components will need to hook into it . . . Assuming I will need some sort of bracket to mount it with (probably want to swivle a little, maybe 30 degrees) – would that come with some models and/or any specific issues with that?
Can Flat Screen Tv’s Shrink The Picture For Ideal Viewing Distance?
I’ll be purchasing a LCD or Plasma TV soon. I’ll be placing it where I’ll be able to watch it from either the living room, dining table, or kitchen. Going by my measurements, the ideal screen size would be 37” from the living room, 46” from the dining table, or 50” from the kitchen. If I go with the 50” screen, can I shrink the picture for the suitable viewing distance without effecting picture quality? If some models can do it, which ones?

My mom wants a small flat screen TV for Christmas, doesn’t care what kind, but she wants a smaller one, no bigger than say 19″, and she wants to mount it on the wall over her desk.

How Important Is The Viewfinder On A Digital Camera?
I’m shopping for a new digital camera, and all the models that interest me have no viewfinder, “LCD only.” This seems like it might be a problem, since if the LCD screen breaks, or there is a glare on the screen, it will be difficult to line up a good shot. How important is the viewfinder on a digital camera, and why do so many compact and subcompact cameras have LCD only, rather than a viewfinder and and LCD like the other cameras I’ve owned? Do you have any suggestions for a good camera under $400 with good shutter lag?
