Building A Wall For A Flat Screen Tv. Where’s The Best Location For The Electrical Outlet?

When I hung my flatscreen I put the outlet directly behind the TV along with a cable outlet and ports for the surround sound and DVD player. When the TV is folded against the wall, It’s on a cantilever mount, you cant see the outlets wires or anything behind it at all.

How To Add Another Outlet For A Flat Panel Tv?

i am going to be mounting a flat panel tv to my wall. there is a power outlet at the bottom of the wall (which i can plug in cable box, dvd, etc.) but i want to add another outlet higher up on the wall behind the flatpanel tv. how do i go about taping off of the existing outlet? i am also going to add a bulk cable wall plate behind the tv and at the bottom of the wall (to run hdmi cables and stuff)

Does A Flat Screen Tv Need Anything Other Than A Power Outlet And Antenna Connection To Watch Tv Stations?

will I need a tuner box or anything extra or is buying a flat screen tv like buying the old tv’s just with better optics?
