About the only place on the wall I want to put the tv is above the fireplace but I have consern about the heat rising????
Why Does My New Flat Screen Tv Keep Freezing And The Pixels Go All Over The Place?
You have POOR antenna signal….that’s why it Freezes and Pixellates…
IF you’re using an indoor antenna, the best way to ADJUST your antenna is to go to your ANALOG Channel (numbers like 6, 12, 44 etc) instead of your DIGITAL Channels (6-1, 12-3, 44-2) and tune the antenna so there is little to NO SNOW on the Channel…..
Then you can switch back to your Digital TV stations for noise-free digital…..
It’s easier to see how good/bad your signal is with the analog stations….
Now, if your ANALOG channels are still pretty snowy, you may have to ADD a 20db RF amplifier to your antenna FIRST (Radio Shack carries them!) and see if that locks your stations in…..
If that still doesn’t help….then you have to get your Antenna UP and UP and MORE UP than where it presently is….
The higher you go the better the signal gets…..
That’s why people have OUTDOOR roof-mounted antennas…
But MOST have Cable or Satellite, and the reason is because they don’t have to do anything to the antenna at all, the Cable/Satellite guys maintain the equipment for you, figure the problem out for you and fix it FOR YOU….
Of course the Sat Guys charge a preset fee for any repairs….same as the Cable guys, but they’re maintained by a monthly surcharge….
You pay one way or another….
Anyways, get your Sat or Cable guy out if you have those services….

It is soon 2010, but the biggest event of that year is gonna be… 2010 FIFA World Cup. Yes, all of you English people who are here are probably cheering about the fact that it England made it through. But I am Russian. And Russia has failed to qualify for it. So after 2 months I just forgot about it and like people say, time heals everything. But now, 2010 is coming. And I can already picture all the commercials on TV about buying tickets and all those sponsors advertising. It has come back again and I feel so sad about it. Any ways to get over it?
P.S. I am ten-years-old so that’s why I am upset over something that doesn’t matter to a smart, older, person.

I must note that although I have always known that South Africa would under majority rule, sooner rather than later, be firmly entrenched on the road to third world disaster, the events of the last 3 months have even managed to take me by surprise, I had not anticipated the economy to falter so early, the total incompetence of Eskom, nor had I imagined the ANC would so quickly become a party whose daily affairs would managed by elected criminals and left wing radicals as emeraged at last years policy conference in Pietersburg.
Like most I had believed the worst would only be upon us a year or two after the 2010 FIFA World Cup but it now seems the worst is lingering a few months down the road….
