What Are Some Ways To Spend Quality Time Together During A Long-distance Relationship?

That’s the vague version, here’s the specific version -
My girlfriend’s off at her first semester of college and we’re a couple thousand miles apart. She’s had a tough time adjusting and is pretty lonely a good part of the time, and next weekend her roommate (who lives near the college) is going home, so she’s going to be extra lonely.
I’m trying to think of ways to keep her company despite being so far away – first of all, by being on the phone with her the entire time. But beyond that, I’m trying to think of other stuff we can be doing “together”.
So far, I figure we can watch a movie together (both rent the same movie, start it at the same time), and play a game together (online, any number of the Yahoo! games out there).
Does anyone have any other ideas?
