My boyfriend is going to Stockholm University in Sweden on a scholarship to study medicine after he graduates from high school. I’m going to a local college to learn about Liberal Arts. We’re very serious about each other and we’ve been talking about marriage as soon as we’ve graduated from our respective colleges and are on sound financial feet. I’m just a little worried about him been on another continent for at least 4 years. Can a long distance relationship like this really work? I know it’s still 2 years away, but I’m concerned about this.

My ex and I broke up when I left for college because the long-distance was too hard for him to handle. We remained very close friends and I still am madly in love with him. I recently found out he had a new girlfriend and it broke my heart. I told him I can’t talk to him anymore and he broke down saying that he loves me and wants to be with me…its just so hard because I am so far away. He confessed his passion and love for me…saying that he wants to be with me but we are just both living separate lives right now. I don’t know what to do because I still love him so much and strongly feel like we will get back together someday. Does he realy still love me and is using this new girl for sex? He calls me all the time to check in and see how I am..tells me he misses me ad everything. I am so confused and emotionally torn! Any advice

Can A Long-distance Relationship Really Work?
I just moved back home to NC from VA and a couple of months ago me and my girlfriend broke up because we thought it would be best since we would be living 5 hours drive apart. However she wants to get back together.
I plan on moving to Texas next year. I would love for her to go with me, but they don’t have a school there where she can transfer her college credits from VA to TX. (there isn’t a school in NC either) So starting over or quitting school is not an option for her, she’s got 2 more years to go.
I love her and i’ve never really thought that a long-distance relationship could work. Can it work?? Any suggestions?? What would you do??
