Mexico has not won the Gold Cup for 6 years and has not beaten the US for four. The US’s FIFA World Ranking is higher than Mexico’s, yet besides all of this, Mexico gets the seeding and thus, the easier group. Just to show an example: in 06, the US did not get the seed and came up with Italy, the Czechs, and Ghana. Mexico got the seed and came up with Portugal, Iran, and Angola. There’s a big difference there. As expected, the US did not go through while Mexico did.

I am the commissioner of a yahoo football league. One of my teams has beaten another team twice during the regular season. Both teams are 9-5. The team that has lost both head2head games is seeded 2 and gets a bye in round 1. The team who won both head2head games is seeded 3rd and has no bye. I would like to change the seeding. Is this possible? If so how?
