Will It Hurt My Flat Panel Tv To Mount It Over The Fireplace?
About the only place on the wall I want to put the tv is above the fireplace but I have consern about the heat rising????
Flat Screen Tv Mount (not On The Wall) No Drilling Allowed?
I am looking for a mount that will work with my problem. I have an area above the fireplace that is cut out a hole that will hold an old style TV at 36″ I have photos of this hole in the wall but I am not sure how to post them. Anyways I am not allowed to drill however there is a ledge I can clap to. Does anyone have any idea where to find custom mounts a way to add photos for you to see.
How Do I Reinforce The Cavity In A Plasterboard Wall So That I Can Hang My Flat Screen Tv On It?
I have a plaster wall with about 2″ cavity between it and the proper wall behind it. What is the best way to reinforce it (and replaster it afterward – i want it to look as if no work has been done and just paint over it as usaul)
I can’t hang the TV mount on the studs as they are metal and too far apart (24″).

I don’t really care about picture quality and I want it to be like 10 inches or even less. I don’t have anywhere where I can place it so it needs to be flat and wall mountable. Probably in the 17 inch range, room and space is not that large. Have not yet delved into ANY flat profile TV purchases so I’m a bit of a novice at what to look for, but the room does have many windows so that will play into selection (a small sunroom). What brands, models, types should I be looking for? No other components will need to hook into it . . . Assuming I will need some sort of bracket to mount it with (probably want to swivle a little, maybe 30 degrees) – would that come with some models and/or any specific issues with that?

I bought a 42″ TV and a mount to hang it on the wall. There is only one place that we can put it on the wall and in that space for some reason the studs are 45″ apart. So can we just use the heavy duty wall anchors? Or is the TV to big for something like that? Please help!
