Modification In The Football Necessary…..?

What do you think about the following sugestions to be introduced in soccer before world cup 2010? Personally, I think FIFA doesn’t know what he is doing.
1. Own goals will no longer count.
2. If a ball hits the goal post and the ball goes in, the goal will not cout.
3. Two referees will oficiate the match. This means, there will be two referees on the field of play.
4. No cameras will be allowed in the venue where the match is to be played.
5. Spectators are not allowed to make any noise.
6. A player who gets a card will have to leave the field of play immediately, and if he tries to argue ~ he misses the next match.
7. The won’t be any red cards. A yellow card is enough to send the player off the field.
8. A goalkeeper can handle the ball anywhere in the field, but he cannot score it with his hands to the opponents ‘ net.
9. Penalties count for two goals.
10. And finally, a draw no longer counts 1point, but two ~ and a loss means you owe points (i.e. -1 point)

World Cup 86 Venue Question.?

Thought I would give oor wee gang first go at this question.
There are rumours that Fifa has secretly drawn up a list of 3 countries( Injcludes them by the way) who could takeover the 2010 World Cup from South Africa if the general violence doesn`t improve and the stadiums fall further behind in construction. This got me thinking about World Cup 86.
Originally to have gone to a South American country, I believe Columbia or Bolivia but can`t remember which. I think Brazil then stepped in as hosts but then gave it up. Finally Mexico took over as hosts and we got to see WGS try to vault that advertising board. Can anyone copnfirm the exact events. as they unfolded?

I’m not going to be able to attend one of the games for the 2010 world cup and I’m awaiting FIFA’s official ticket transfer policy, but is it possible to pick the tickets up at the venue and sell them there? Has anyone done this to previous world cups? Do they check the ticket against your passport when entering the stadium?

Do You Think That Fifa Will Shortly Move The 2010 World Cup To A Safe Venue?

Interesting article in todays Scotsman and quote:
But speculation is bound also to increase about the viability of football’s 2010 World Cup, which is scheduled to take place in South Africa. Already, stadia are behind schedule and a period of political turmoil may persuade FIFA, the world football authority, to unwrap its emergency plan to stage the tournament elsewhere, possibly either Germany or Australia.

Looking for a special venue for a a University old boys game, and I remember a few years ago Hull City FC would rent out Boothery Park (R.I.P) for about £200 for teams to play a 90 minute match on it, and I was wondering if anyone knows of any football league clubs doing similar nowadays? Cheers!
