How To Make A Long Distance Relationship Work?

How do you make a long distance relationship work? I’m going to college on the west coast while my boyfriend is on the east coast, we talk on the phone everyday, what else can we do? should I get a myspace or something?

I have been dating my girlfriend for nearly two years. In August, we are going to college (I’m headed off for California and she is staying on the east coast).
I am hesitant to stay together and I know she wants to stay together. I would like to be with her, but don’t think it will work.
So all you west coast guys… are you meeting/did you meet (hot) girls in college? Did you stay with a high school girlfriend (did it work)? Any success with open relationships?
What should I do??
