College Plans, Could You Give Me Your Opinions?
My boyfriend and I are both going to college after this summer, and we’ll have been dating for a year by then. We aren’t perfect, and we fight often, but we can never stay mad at each other which makes me believe that we are a strong couple and we love each other. He is deciding on whether to go out of state of go to the same college that I am attending. We’ve talked about it multiple times but we always end up where we started. We have talked about long distance and he is unsure about this. I’m a little unsure too because I was dumped a year or so over a web cam after dating my ex for a year and a couple of months, I’m pretty sure that my ex was my first love so it was pretty heartbreaking. I just want to hear other people’s experiences and opinions on long distance and going to the same college as your high school sweetheart.

When Your Long Distance Boyfriend Seems.. Distant?
My boyfriend and I have been long distance for nearly a year now and haven’t seen each other since December. We are both excited to see one another in about 3 weeks. I am going to transfer to college there hopefully for the spring semester because the distance really bothers us.
We talk on webcam and he seems distant. I am always so excited to see him on cam. His response is usually that although he likes seeing me he wishes he could just be with me physically. When I ask him if he is bored or if he really wants to talk he seems genuinely offended and says he loves me and wants to talk to me. Last night I was a little confused because I took my top off for him (a first, we haven’t had sex yet) and although he liked it, when I asked if I should take anything else off, he wanted me to but also wanted to take it one step at a time. Please note that I am 20 yrs old and still a virgin, he is over 30, so I’m wondering if maybe this is part of it? I feel like he really loves me but I’m curious as to why he does this. I know a lot is going on in both our lives and that the distance is really bothersome. What could be the reason?
