What’s A Good Way To Run A Keeper Fantasy Football League With An Auction Format?
in this league you’re only allowed 1 keeper – this is this the first year.
should a percentage of your keeper’s purchase price be held back for the next year?

The way we do it is….
Everyone gets 300
if you want to keep a player, they are worth whatever you paid last year plus a Fee for a price range. For example, 0-15 = automatically have to pay 15. 15-25 = add 5 dollars to last years price. 25-30 = add 4 dollars. > 30 = add 3 dollars. So if you had bought Brady for 20 last year, you have to pay 25 for him, which would get autodeducted from their starting salary. So now they only have 275 left to use.
Also, we have a limit on how long anyone can hold a player of 3 years. Otherwise, you have teams holding onto some rookie studs for cheap for years. And by anyone, it also means if they are traded the 3 years still count and they must be allowed to back in the auction.
