Where Can I Buy A Moving Box For A 50″ Flat Screen Tv ?
I am moving soon, and have a 50 inch flat screen tv. I threw out the original box. Where can i buy (in store or online) a moving box?? please help.

You can also try U HAUL or even the manufacturer….but that may take too much time that you don’t have.
If that’s the case, then do what I do.
I make sure the TV is mounted on the stand, then I set it in the truck with the screen facing towards the walls….
With a U Haul those walls are excellent for protecting the FRONT of the TV set which is the MOST fragile part of the TV…
I will use a SUPER Thick Quilt to cover the TV set, and maybe some other quilts to pad it from the wall or even some cardboard boxes that FIT between the TV and the wall that I’ll set by the TV’s frame, NOT the display panel…Ok, you can put one in the center if it’s a PLASMA, but NEVER one on an LCD! Never! Only the outside frame is safe!..
The whole point is to isolate the display panel from flying objects, like refrigerators and bowling balls; also you don’t want that TV tipping over and striking some other object.
Now….once padded, with the panel facing towards the wall, and cardboard boxes or quilts between the wall and TV to stop it from rocking back and forth, I get 2 long nylon straps and strap the TV to the wall with an X strapping….
Top to the other side’s bottom…..Bottom to the other side’s Top…
I wrap the 2 straps like we tie our shoes in the center of the back of the TV set, and by adjusting the top or bottom strap-locks I can adjust the center crossing higher/lower or even left or right !
Wish I could show you a picture of my truck and the cross strap system I use…a picture is worth a thousand words. And after 20 years of Transporting TV sets a hundred to 3 hundred miles in a day, I’ve had the benefit of learning what works and what doesn’t work.
