Honestly, I think it will take a long time for England to win another World Cup. They may take advantage of these new rules, but the growing and nurturing process will take a long time and one and a half years isn’t long enough. They’ll probably do good in 2010, but not Final-worthy.
However, maybe in 2014 or more likely 2018, they’ll win the World Cup because by then, if they continue to use these new rules, England will have fresh, brand new talent. Then, hopefully, the World Cup will go to the country that invented the beautiful game.

In my opinion…England will be a title contender for the next world cup…they have a great coach (to me the best) Capello is a champion coach and always gets the best of his men…there’s still plenty of time before SA 2010 and I´m absolutely positive England will reach SA in perfect physical condition(very important for World Cups/euro cups) and will be a threat to everyone…If only they had a top goal scorer!!..
England as a rival on any pitch is always respected no matter in what form they are in…. but with Capello…England will only get better…As a Real Madrid fan and having seen Capello work…I have no doubt that he thinks England can win the next worl cup….the man works to obtain results in short periods of time… if you look at his results in the past and were an English supporter… I would be very happy and confident.

Well it’s taken 43 years so far to get themselves a so called decent manager.(we’ve heard it all before)…how many times in the past hav we heard that the new England manager is gonna win the world cup this year….or NXTD year…?Dont forget how football has changed as well in 40 years…in them days it was an honour to play for England….do you really think the players of today really give a toss..?cause i don’t,i’m sorry to say….

that will take a little bit longer to win the world cup
5-6 home players in each team will be fantastic for the game and the supporters will also enjoy having home grown players as well
